Just getting started again.

Well, this past week I joined Weight Watchers again. I know that I can work the plan and the plan will work, I just have to do it. I have to get off my butt and do it.

I was so happy to go to the beach this past summer for a week with my wonderful family. I was so happy to be there but so sad because I had made a promise to myself that I would not look the same this past summer that I did the first summer. Well, that did not happen. I had a WHOLE year to make changes and I just didn't get there. Why not? Well I tried to do it on my own at first. That worked for just a little while.. but not really so well. Then in March or so, I joined WW but soon after Jamie (my son) got sick and I just did not have the time or energy to worry about me at the time.

OK, so here I am... October, just two months after the beach and I keep thinking to myself that if I had just done it last year, I would be close to my goal by now. Why didn't I do it? Why didn't I keep going? Well, the only thing I can do about that now is to start now. When I gave up sodas back in February this year I didn't think about it being 8 months later... and still no sodas much less did I ever think about drinking NOTHING BUT WATER. And yet, here I am, drinking nothing but water.

I can do this. I need support and help and I finally had the conversation with the love of my life about wanting to make changes in my life for me. I wanted to make sure that he knew that I loved him and was not doing this to attract another man. The only man in the world that I want to attract, I already have. :-). I wanted to make sure he was secure in our relationship and knew that even though I may get attention at a much healthier weight, there was NO ONE that I wanted more than him! I want him and only him.
He is my support! He is the love of my life and I love him just way he is.. and he loves me the same. I am glad to have him.

OK bye for now. I am going to be making weight loss videos and keeping track of my weight loss on video too! See ya there!
